Finalising Make-Up

We have been speaking to the Make-Up artist and have finalised what we wanted the dancers and the musicians to look like. We have discussed this before but we just wanted to re-confirm, click here to get to the first post about the Make-Up.

For the 1920's make up we decided to have a thin arch for the eyebrows, and a brown smokey eye, which will subtly exentuate the eyes. We also want a red lip which will help us portray the era and also give us the ability to put focus on the dancers. The make-up is very specific to the timeframe we want.

The make up for the futuristic element will include doing a colour gradient from green to blue with rhinestones. After a longer discussion we also came to the conclusion that we would like some geometric designs added to the make up to make it even funkier. Laura Smith also informed us that she initially wanted to block out the eye-brows to make the dancers look more alienated, but after trying it out on a friend she came to the conclusion that she didn't like this very much and therefore decided to scrap the idea.

She will also be providing her own make up which will greatly help with the budget.
