During today's editing session we began introducing the futuristic element, which comes directly after Oriana's tap sequence. We also discussed perhaps introducing it with small snippets earlier in the video, however I am unsure whether this would be a good idea. It may look a bit odd. We did, however, add parts of Oriana's tap sequence into the 1920's section, which slightly helps with the transition.

The futuristic section is around 30 seconds long, and we attempted to alternate between the musicians and dancers. We also wanted to include the scientist into the futuristic section so that the lip sync at the end of the section wouldn't stand out weirdly. Adding him earlier in the futuristic bit will help with a lack of shots and also give us the opportunity to make the film flow better.

Another thing we did today was cut out the remaining clips of the 1920's which we didn't need as soon as the futuristic part set in. This helped us to make our timeline cleaner and get rid of any clips that we didn't need, or would possibly be useless within the futuristic section.

We also added more tap bits towards the end of the futuristic section, as this would help to "echo out" the transition and yet again, make it flow better.
