Editing Part 2

Click here to get to the first editing post.
Today we went back into the editing suite and looked over the footage which I had synced up last Thursday. We decided that we liked the ones that I had put into the timeline and decided to begin editing properly by composing shots  to the beat.

The timeline put together properly is shown above. Our next step now was to choose which shot we wanted to start on, which was the wideshot we took of the dancers and musicians in the 1920's set.

We then decided to that it would be best to switch between the musicians, dancers and the mad scientist because then it would make more sense and raise more questions as to why there is a scientist.
One of the issues which we encountered was that in one of the shots Mike Timson picks up a test-tube with his right hand, and in all of the other shots he picks it up with his left hand. In an attempt to make this less obvious we did a bit of a time-jump between the two shots chosen and therefore is barely noticeable.
