Feedback on Digipak Draft

I was responsible for creating the digipak, which represents the album which includes the song Beatophone and should therefore be reflective of the band's ethics. We decided that we didn't want to include a scientific aspect, however that we did want to add some more "steampunk-esque" features. I have come up with a design here, and have improved it here. We decided to show this to the audience as well and asked them what they thought.

The initial feedback was that we had to made the name of the band, "Aether", larger than โบล์ท//bolt as the band name is always larger than that of the album. This is easily adjustable and the effect of the metallic imagery will not fade.

The colour which our classmates preferred the most was the yellow-gold design, which Chris, Nanci and I liked the most as well. It properly reflects the vintage look we were going for and therefore works quite well, whilst still staying modern due to the fact that it looks like tubing.

Overall, the feedback was very positive and thought that the album cover fit very well with our music video. They also thought that the overall campaign will probably look quite good.

I have applied the few changes that were suggested, and have come up with this digipak:
