Straight Line Stich:
Straight Line Stitch is a band which not only does heavy metal, but also does stratospheric rock. This means that they're partially alternative like the song we had chosen, and therefore a good pick to look at when looking for inspiration when creating our music video, website, and digipak.
Straight Line Stitch seems to be more of an organic band, much like the other's we will be looking at ("Home" and "Big Yellow Taxi" also seem to have artists that are pretty much organic instead of synthetic). This is because a) they are staying out of the spotlight to not make their music about them, but rather keep it about the sound. They also display amazing artwork when it comes to their album covers, which might be something to consider when creating our digipaks for this kind of song. The genre is brought across well and symbolises what they seem to stand for, which is similar to the star image that we thought of. Click here to get to Chris' wordcloud.
This song by Straight Line Stitch called "What You Do To Me", which is created in a similar style to "Scarlet". This band seems to be quite similar when it comes to the ideas we have.
To my surprise, this band didn't have a website, so we don't quite have anything to ideas and inspiration off of when it comes to this band. However, the band "The Agonist" have come up with a really cool alternative
