The Make-Up Artist

We are looking for a make-up artist who is both capable of doing something futuristic and in a 1920's style to match the different elements we want to include in the music video. We reached out to Laura Smith who is interested in pursuing a career in make-up as well as SFX make-up, which we could use to our advantage.

We received two designs back from her which indicate what the make up for the 1920s style could/would look like, and what the futuristic style would look like. This was beneficial to us because it allowed us to see what she is really capable of, and seeing her interpretation of what she thinks the dancers/other people should look like. What she visualised helped us to visualise everything as well and we can always bring up suggestions of what else we might want/find interest in.

What I think we would also like to incorporate into the futuristic designs are more geometrical patterns, rather than just powder and colour. This way it could look more edgy and funky and perhaps fit in just as well. In this pinterest board there are various designs of make up that we could use on the face to make it funkier and more interesting.
