Set Design

When considering set design, I decided to use the game "The Sims 4" (which is a life simulation) in which you can build your own homes, and decorate them, to build our sets in the way I imagine they would look like. This gives us a better insight on what we could imagine it all to look like and gives us a 3D image of the set.

Here is what I imagine the orginal set for the jazz club could look like. The first sketches can be found here.

The dancers are positioned on the stage infront of the musicians. Instead of having a grand piano as depicted here, we would have one of the simple ones that can be found in the music rooms.

Here are the tables and chairs that would fit in the 1920s style jazz club.

View from the stage and overview of the entire set.

Here is what the jazz club would change into at the peak of the song:

I imagine there would be room for people to join in the dance, or the dancers moving downwards.

The chairs would move to the side.

Funkier lighting would be used.

As a seperate element, we thought that the dancers could be shown in an infinity screen (I couldn't depict one properly, but I tried my best). Click here to see how we would work with the lighting.

For our last element we imagined the scientist/hacker to work in the shipping container, set up to look like a kind of run-down office.

We imagined using an older-looking computer.

Here is a video which has been composed to show the Set Design in Video:
